Website vulnerabilities: offense and defense (Room A-209)
Summary
In this workshop I would like to give a quick theoretical background on website vulnerabilities (as a power point presentation). Then I would divide the participants into X teams. Each team would have to choose one particular vulnerability type and code a simple website, purposefully leaving a security hole of the type they have chosen.
At the last stage the teams would inter exchange their simple websites and would try to penetrate first black box and then white box (should black box give no successful penetration). At the very end each security hole is analyzed and examined on how it can be sealed.

I am a Drupal developer with 9 years of experience. Since 2012 I've been maintaining linux servers apart from coding on PHP. I have been involved in Open source through Drupal and Gentoo contributions. Participated as a speaker in different events in Mexico, Guatemala, Ukraine.
